Description
Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families (ACA) is a 12-step program for individuals (students, faculty, staff, and community members) who grew up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional homes. The members meet with each other in a mutually respectful, safe environment and acknowledge their common experiences. Members discover how childhood affected them in the past and influences their present. Members focus on positive action by practicing the 12-steps. The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover from the effects of growing up in an alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional family. There are no fees and dues.
