Currently and previously enrolled GVSU students are eligible to participate during the registration cycle from March 17- April 4, 2008.  Class standing for Winter 2009 registration is based on current class standing plus Winter 2008 attempted hours.  Hours officially transferred are also included.

Registrations and Drop/Adds will be accepted according to the schedule, in the Student Assistance Center (Allendale or DeVos); or Lakeshore Center Offices in Muskegon and Holland; or GVSU University Center in Traverse City.

  • PRIMARY/SECONDARY ACTIVITIES - If you have trouble dropping or adding, contact the Student Assistance Center: (616) 331-3327.
  • PRIOR APPROVAL REQUIRED - Courses that require you to obtain permission before you may register are denoted by a 'Prior Approval Required' message when you attempt to register. Stop in or call the department to obtain permission.
  • CLOSED course - pick another course or acquire permission from the department to register in a closed class.
  • FINANCIAL hold - when you clear it, the hold will be lifted. Then, re-submit your registration.
  • ACADEMIC hold - when you clear it, the hold will be lifted. Then, re-submit your registration.
  • ADVISOR approval - required to submit an advisor approved registration; may use the WEB for drop-add only.
