The Laker Effect in Action - Catherine Johnson Laker Effect

Catherine is a heavily involved junior at Grand Valley. Not only is she a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority, she is an employee at the office of sustainability practices and an active member of the environmental studies program. She is currently part of a capstone group trying to further educate students on the recycling, compost, landfill waste bins, and reducing waste on campus. Her group is also creating RA boards that educate incoming freshmen on how to be mindful of their consumption and waste. Catherine is a hardworking, driven, and positive student dedicated to making a positive impact in her community and environment.
