Operating System DescriptionsGVSU Academic Computing supports Windows Vista and a Macintosh environment. The Standard Windows Vista Environment is a lab environment where all of the specific departmental applications are loaded in Vista. For Macintosh Environments, software is loaded on the hard drives of the Macintosh computers. See above for locations. Faculty/staff do not automatically have access to a departmental R: drive.
