GVSU Alumni Association Board of Directors
The GVSU Alumni Association Board of Directors is the representative body of the Alumni Association. Board members act as a voice for the over 68,000 members of the alumni population and help shape the future of the University by making policy recommendations through the alumni relations office. The work of the Association’s Board of Directors is carried out through standing committees. These committees cover such areas as activities, awards, community outreach, and fundraising.
The Board of Directors holds four meetings annually, typically in Allendale. At its meetings, the board transacts association business, and discusses the strategic direction of the Association and how to best involve alumni in the advancement of the university. In addition, the board frequently interfaces with students, campus administrators, community leaders, faculty and staff members.
